April 17Field Trip: Steina at the AKG
We’ll coordinate travel to the Buffalo AKG to see the Steina Vasulka retrospective — a critical touchstone in video art history. Open to all grads.

A collaborative, low-pressure gathering for grads and media-curious creatives.

A space to test ideas, share projects, troubleshoot gear, and explore experimental workflows in audio, video, and interactive media. Some nights are conversational, some hands-on—all are rooted in reciprocal learning.

Some topics have included:
– Signal flow and analog gear jams
– CRT chaining and VHS capture tests
– Intro patching with Max/MSP/Jitter
– Peer critiques and soft shares
– Media theory and historical context
